Kick-Off

Telangana cricket has a brand new identity. The TG20 League — Telangana's first-ever franchise-based T20 cricket league — is here, and it's bigger than anyone expected.

Organised by the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA), TG20 isn't just another domestic tournament. It's a full-blown franchise league with big money, star players, and a clear vision: build the next generation of Indian cricket from the heart of Telangana.

With 8 franchises, 32 matches, and 21 days of non-stop cricket, TG20 kicks off on June 21, 2026 at the iconic Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Uppal. Here's everything you need to know.

What is TG20?

TG20 is the Telangana T20 League, launched by the HCA as a franchise-based professional T20 competition. Think of it as Telangana's answer to the IPL — built to give district-level players a world-class stage, and to create a direct pathway from grassroots cricket all the way to elite tournaments.

The league aligns with the BCCI's vision to strengthen domestic cricket structures across India, giving players a competitive environment that goes well beyond state-level cricket.
